    We made our own breakfast. The facilities were excellent, we had a fantastic stay. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was great, nothing else was needed, it was all there and more.. We would definitely book again, and I highly recommend this to anyone. There was a bush walk with amazing Kauris on the property too, the games room and spa pool were also outstanding and it made for a fun environment.

    We had a fabulous stay at Kauri villas - it worked perfectly for our extended family group and the kids (and adults!) loved making the most of the facilities on offer. Thank you Mike and Andrea for your wonderful hospitality

    Beautiful views greet you on arrival with chickens out the kitchen to watch while you’re making breakfast. Andrea and Mike are lovely hosts and they have a games room that my kids absolutely loved.

    Fabulous stay. Gorgeous property. Even loved the chooks! Mike and Andrea made us feel like family and Mike cooks the best poached eggs ever !! Pool, hot tub, games room , you couldn't ask for anything more.

    Very friendly staff who accommodated all of our needs (staff called and texted prior to our arrival to make arrangements as required) - A family oriented and welcoming environment - Beautiful pool and spa - Lovely gardens and sea views from the pool - Games room for the children - We had an additional child join our trip at short notice. Staff had no problems with this, and didn't charge us extra - Affordable pricing for an entire house-like unit

    Mike was a warm and attentive host who made us a delicious breakfast to order: bacon, eggs. Dench pastries... The works! Charming villa accommodation beautifully decorated with Andrea's impressive collection of vintage collectibles. Loved the facilities:Large pool, spa and the kids couldn't get enough of the games room. It was a good space to relax and meet other guests too. We really appreciated the free upgrade to a larger room for our family which meant we were closer to the facilities too.

    We would certainly recommend Kauri Villas as a place to stay. The hosts were very warm and friendly, the accommodation clean and comfortable, the serenity and views superb, the breakfast (where this is an option) excellent, and the games room ideal for children (and adults). The location was a very pleasant spot to relax and unwind and to explore the Whangarei Heads area.
