Great cottage in a good location a short drive from Rotorua (to avoid the sulphurous smells! It was comfortable for 3 of us and the owner was friendly and helpful.

Wonderful surroundings, lovely glamping tent with comfortable, big beds. Really cosy kitchen and great common room with couch and fireplace and good view. Also the balcony with hot bath was excellent, especially in the night where you could sit and watch the stars. Warm and welcoming host, all in all perfect!

Such a lovely cottage that made our trip to Rotorua perfect! We’ve specially loved the time when we could bond with the animals a little bit, because you don’t often get an opportunity to just chill out with horses and ducks. Tracey was great to take the time to meet us and have a chat with us, and the facility itself is beautiful, cosy, and clean, which is just what you need for a short stay 😊

Loved the location (close to a big park and lots of good places to eat) and that there was so much parking around. The flat was clean, nicely decorated and so comfortable.

Wonderful staff member Tristen? My partner & I had unfortunate experience at another hotel & quickly booked in with Kings on Peace for the following night. Early the next morning I ring and tell Tristen about what happened & she immediately offered for us to drop our luggage off to her then (as our room was not ready yet) & carry on with our day. Adding to this, this lovely woman let us check in early before the appointed check-in time. We really felt she went above & beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. A very beautiful and modern unit. Spacious bathroom, huge wet floor shower with amazing pressure. Added bonus was having a 2in1 washing machine/drier. All necessary kitchen appliances (including coffee pod maker) and utensils with a dishwasher drawer. Comfortable bed & bedding and wardrobe for storage and nice to have a big TV to watch instead of squinting 😂. The best surprise though was the two-man spa pool on our own private deck, definitely ended the night right! 110% recommending this to anyone travelling to rotorua.

The host is the most friendly and warm welcoming person you will ever meet. She helped us a lot in planning our trips. Gave us wonderful, excellent, and accurate information, which was essential for our planning. Thank you. The room is excellent, you will find everything you need. The breakfast is amazing. There are so many good things! Wish we could stay longer. Make yourself a favour and book a stay at this accommodation. We will be returning there if we ever come back to NZ.
