I wasn't sure what to expect from this hotel but I was absolutely blown away when we arrived! It is well-designed and absolutely gorgeous. Each room has an uninterrupted majestic view of the mountains and valley. The bathtub is divine. The swimming pool is gorgeous and the perfect temperature. The gardens and the landscaping were beautiful. The staff are very kind and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were plentiful and had many options, including for vegetarians. It is definitely worth coming for sunset! (I got up at sunrise also, but it was too foggy to see much). The stargazing is also ample. We also really enjoyed walking around the village of Al Hamra in the valley below.

**At this place we stepped into an Arabian fairytale!** The host gave us the warmest **traditional Arabic welcome** with **dates and coffee**. He was incredibly kind—driving us around the city in his own car, showing us the sights, and sharing Omani hospitality at its finest. But the surprises didn’t stop there! He invited us into his home, introduced us to his family, and his wife adorned our hands with delicate **paint tattoos (henna)**. Throughout our stay, he took such good care of us—helping plan our trips, sharing stories of local life, and making us feel like honored guests. The hotel itself was a dream: immaculate, cozy, and luxurious, with a sunlit courtyard blooming with fragrant flowers. Thanks to them, I didn’t just leave with memories—I left with **friends in Oman**. A thousand thanks for making our journey so magical! We’ll be back!

It was a wonderful stay in Emina's guesthouse. Located in the old town of Haram, a small village, the property is a wonderful architectural gem with a fantastic roof terrace and great panoramic views of the mountains. The food is very lovingly prepared, I loved enjoying breakfast on the terrace. The room is beautiful, there are warm blankets, a very nice bathroom (with hot water) and I like the mix of modern and traditional. I was particularly impressed by the traditional beamed ceiling. The accommodation is easy to reach, there is a car park and is ideal for hiking or strolling through the beautiful (and huge) palm park that is directly adjacent. The accommodation is very safe and my every wish was met. An ideal place for travelers who want to stay in an authentic place. 5 stars and best wishes to Emina! Amazing views in the top of Jabbal Shams. The price is a bit high, but considering you take the whole apartment is quite special. Ideally to travel with friends or with family if you are able to get to the top, which can be done by 4x4.
