Riu is special! It’s located close enough to the island hustle (I walked across the bridge in to Taglibaran easily) yet also away enough in its own peaceful area to feel like a retreat. It’s a great location to scooter/Tuk tuk down to Alona but also close to the Port and Bohol. The bungalows are spacious with a balcony and if you’re a backpacker like me, easy to catch up on your washing! I was in the shared bungalow with considerate people so it was relaxing and a great experience. The river is great for a cool down swim and the property is well landscaped with some loungers to relax. It is small and very personable for a great experience. The staff and owner are incredibly helpful and also have quality scooters on hand for renting at a great rate.

Enjoyed my stay here. Jasmine was lovely and always available for my needs. Adrian was very well spoken in english which helped very much. Facilities were awesome, pool was always inviting. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Dauis, Bohol.

The super helpful owner was there to meet us when we arrived at CASA MIK, they helped us organise the transport from the ferry pier and also all our day trips which were a very reasonable price through a reliable contact. The villa was a good size for us and included a small kitchen to cook in and also a bbq outside where we could cook family meals. The villa also has laundry facilities and a place to hang dry our washing which is super helpful as backpackers. When we needed to go for groceries the owner organised a tricycle for us too. The rooms were an ok size and aircon worked great, the tv with access to Amazon, Netflix and Disney is also brilliant to relax to at the end of the day.

    Nice and big, fully equipped apartment perfect for a family stay. If you have a car, it has a very convenient location between the city and mainland Bohol and the beaches of Panglao. Very calm and safe residential area. Big TV with Netflix appealed to kids while I appreciated the coffee machine :).

    The owners are so kind and welcoming and fun. The place is really new and still has some things to be finished but overall, it's gorgeous and such good value for money. The breakfast is tasty, free water and coffee, they have a canoe you can take for free out to the lagoon, the riverfront property means you can go for a dip as well. The balconies for each room feel luxurious, the pets are so cute. They even picked us up from the port so avoided the chaos of people trying to sell you scooters.

    Mia is just the best. She is so lovely and helpful with everything. She even invited us to a diner with her friends and neighbours. It just felt like being part of the family. Highly recommended!!

    M&Ks Guesthouse has two lovely owners Melissa and Klaus who create a family-like atmosphere, are incredibly helpful with everything (!) and always up for a good conversation :) they own a little dog family that they also can keep behind gates if a guest is not super dog friendly so the area suits everyone. The Pool is bigger than it looks on the Photo and everything is very clean and well taken care of

    The Mayana resort is a cosy oasis, perfect for families with kids. I was truly impressed by the rooms that were superb, with great modern facilities and perfect cleanness. We used a pool everyday, that was clean and well maintained. Food was one of the best we have eaten on Panglao. I wish to come back to Mayana one day again.

    Great service from this resort(transport, renting scooter, laundry). Very tasty food and drinks in restaurant. Very comfortable room (bed, hot shower, functional silent air conditioning, minibar, netflix). After a few days in accommodation in the jungle or right on the beach, this very comfortable accommodation was a pleasure.
