It really is like a home far away from home. People there ia really friendly and makes you feel part of the family. Surf lessons were amazing.

Excellent stay! The stuff was very friendly, quality and tidiness of the room were wonderful. I recommend taking the room with a balcony (nice view on the square). The prices are affordable.

The Yucca House was perfect for our family of 4. The apartment, which is the ground floor of the property, comfortably sleeps 6. The location is 5 star. It's a 5 minute walk to Carcavelos Beach in one direction and a 5 minute walk to the train station in the other. Lisbon is an easy 35 minute train ride. We had a great time at the Yucca House. The back yard and swimming pool are TOP! Thank you so much to Jose and Rita! They were perfect host and available 24/7. I highly recommend staying at the Yucca House. Ryan

Lovely guesthouse with basic but comfortable prices. Lots of towels and a small but functional bathroom. Good sized family rooms with bunk beds. Good continental breakfast. Some rooms have a terrace with sunbeds. There is also a small garden and swimming pool. Well situated close to a small shopping centre with a supermarket. 5 mins walk to the beach. Half the price of nearby hotels. Staff are very friendly and speak excellent English. It's a charity so money spent helps it.

I liked the ABLA guesthouse because it offers a kids friendly setting that is not as formal as a hotel. The garden is excellent. The breakfast bar has enough options and the staff treat you like family. All this and you feel like you are contributing to the local community by staying there.

Good breakfast and a great courtyard area with swimming pool. When travelling with the family, the courtyard is a delight for children and adults alike. Very caring staff. Good train connections to the city center.
