Francisco, the host owner took us through the history of his family and his property. The Quinta might not look magnificent from outside, but the interior has been kept at best standard possible. Breakfast surely is surprisingly good and having breakfast inside a historic room is certainly enjoyable

The property was amazing and especially good for a large family or group of friends as there are 3 different floors that allow space and privacy but also a central area for meeting up. The facilities were great - we didn't need for anything - and our host was fabulous. Linda met us on arrival and showed us around and we had her personal number should we need her (which we didn't). The local beach, bars, restaurants and town are only a short drive or about a 10 -20 minute walk depending the direction you take. A larger town is only 10 minutes drive away with bigger supermarkets etc. And many fascinating places to visit within 30 minutes drive. We were also able to get an Uber/Bolt for to the main bus station for less than 6 euros and then got a bus to Lisbon for less than 8 Euros if you don't want to drive. A fabulous location and a fabulous property. As a family of 9 adults I would thoroughly recommend.

Villa was modern, spacious, luxurious and clean. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped and we made a lot of use of the kitchen. We were the only people in the complex at the time, so we had the pool to ourselves for 10 days and the kids spent a lot of time in there. Everything was new. Thr beds were comfortable, the towels fluffy, and Evelein, who met us to give us the keys was so kind and helpful.

The place was really nice. It was the first time our German Shephard felt like at home from the first day and didn't see any signs of anxiety for beong left alone. This allowed us to rest and have the peace of mind that the dog is felling good also. The yard is more spacious than you can think from the photos.

Everything was as described and shown on the pictures. The apartment was very clean, bright and spacious. The bed was comfortable. We watched stunning sunsets from the balcony and the beach which is literally around the corner. A personal parking space is reserved on the grounds. With easy self-checkin and checkout we never met our host, but he was available all the time, very kind and helpful.
