The house was very clean when we arrived and plenty of equipment (towel, dishes, soap, ...) was provided. The landscape around the house is simply beautiful. The owner is extremely nice and accommodating.

Beautiful location, nestled I the valley of Faja Grande. Stunning views of Poso Ribiera do Ferreiro and walking distance to the hike. The cottages were quaint but well equipped and preserved the traditionality of the old village. Thev staff were super friendly, warm, welcoming and helpful. On-site restaurant had a good breakfast spread with made to order options availability and even vegan and vegetarian friendly.

Villas do Mar picked us up from the airport, and returned us there. Very friendly and informative. Location was excellent for the trails we wanted to follow. Only issue- we should have had 1 or 2 more days!

    That the owner greeted us in person and informed us about all the sightseeing of the island, the best roads and roads to avoid, updated us on the local forecast and gave us advice about restaurants. There were no specific rules. 24/24h services if needed since he and his family lived very closely. Ricardo also offered us a lift home from the village one of the evenings.

    This was the perfect place to be. The family that lives in this little Quinta is extremely friendly and generous. We got Wine and even cake from her daughters birthday party. Their dog Luke was a frequent guest in the apartment and we enjoyed his little visits. And it was a pleasure to roam around the place and see the other animals. The apartment has everything you need to cook and wash for yourself.

    Outside private space, very comfortable bed, spacious and regularly serviced including towel changeouts. Ricardo was a fabulous host. Loved the noisy Shearwaters coming home to feed the kids at dusk. Faja Grande was the ideal location on the island.

    Everything was perfect. The house is really really lovely and the hosts are the BEST: caring and nice, like family. It really makes a difference when hosts are nice human beings ;-) Breakfast was very good as well. I can only strongly recommend this place. Want to go back, I will go back and I will recommend it to my friends. Muito obrigado por tudo!!! :-)
