The staff at the property were amazing. Specific mention for our waiters at the restaurant, they were extremely passionate about the food and were very knowledgable about all aspects of the region, we learnt so much. Further, the breakfast buffet was delicious and had a huge variety of food. Would highly recommend the Vine House to everyone.

The level of hospitality here was insane. The owners are a lovely married couple. The room and building areas were super clean and comfortable. The best was the breakfast, full of variety and fresh food. The house has a outside seating, however, we havent used it much during our stay.

This is so much more than accommodation it’s quite an adventure to get there. It is right up in the hills in a lovely little village, the people were so friendly. The room is fantastic with many lovely thoughtful things done to make your same great!!

Our stay here was a truly special experience. A really unique location with a sensational view, wonderful rooms, and a beautiful pool. But the best part is the people who have pampered us here and give this house its finishing touch. We felt completely comfortable and really enjoyed our time in this special house. Communication with owner was super quick, he was very helpful. The facilities at the house were amazing - there was food and bottles of water ready for us to use, we were able to do washings (detergent was in the house), the bathroom was stacked with supplies and all rooms were provided with aircons. The house itself was really clean, and the location was perfect, everything was walking distance. Can't say anything else but great value for the money spent! Would definitely come back here.

    We loved the location in the middle of a vineyard. Breakfast food was in the fridge when we arrived and fresh bread delivered each morning. Picked oranges from the tree in courtyard each day, fresh and delicious. Daniel was wonderful, when google maps got us lost about 5 iminutes from the property, we called Daniel and described where we were, he came in his car to guide us to the property. Spent a morning hiking amongst the vines, terrific views.

    The location is amazing, right in the middle of vineyards overlooking the Douro River. We had a vineyard tour upon arrival and then wine tasting which was fun and included in the room rate. We had rooms with terrace overlooking the valley and river and it was nice to sit out there and take in the beautiful scenery. Dinner was great and our server, Sandra, was a wealth of information on the area and Portuguese culture.

    The whole property is just beautifull. So well mainteined and the interior of the room was very cozy and well thought. The private pool & yard for our kid to play was just awesome. And the VIEWS! You just can't get enough of it! We took the wine tour and it was really good, also very tasty wines. Had to buy couple bottles. Staff very friendly, and discreet.
