The cottage was close to the main road, which was ideal for us since we just needed a place to stay a single night while on the road. The place was very easy to find/get inside, even when we arrived late in the evening. There were two bedrooms each with their own bathroom, so great for our group consisting of two couples. The view on the Danube was a nice bonus. (as were the kittens that were playing in the garden)

Modern and comfortable apartment in old building, on walking distance from town centre. Host was not present but we was constantly in touch on WhatsApp, so no problems with finding the property.

We stayed at La Casa in Cetate for one night during our trip back from Greece to Cluj, and we really enjoyed it. The house is spotless clean, everything inside is brand new – from the furniture and TVs to the fully equipped kitchen. It has a spacious terrace and a lovely garden, perfect for relaxing in the peaceful atmosphere of the village, which really reminded us of childhood days at our grandparents’ home. There is private parking inside the yard, which was very convenient. The hosts are extremely kind and welcoming, and they truly made us feel at home. They even showed us a video of the nearby Danube beach – a sandy spot where people can swim and relax. We didn’t have time to go this time, but it looked wonderful, and we’d love to come back for a longer stay to enjoy it. Overall, it’s a beautiful, quiet place with wonderful hosts – we definitely recommend it!
