This place is a real jewel for a productivity or chill retreat. It has it all, from attentive interior design and comfy indoor seating to a huge green space where you can find a perfect spot by the fireplace, this place is really incredible. Not to mention the breakfast cooked by the owners which was absolutely incredible. Kudos to Ulrike and Peter for demonstrating true hospitality!

I absolutely loved my stay! The room was spacious (at least 25 square meters), bright, and very clean, with two large windows bringing in plenty of daylight. The hosts — Kathy and her mother Delia — were incredibly kind, warm-hearted, and welcoming. It was one of the most positive host experiences I've ever had. The guesthouse is located in a peaceful village near Cluj, surrounded by flowers, green lawns, and even a small orchard at the back. There’s a private entrance with a little terrace filled with hanging flowers and a place to leave your shoes. Just outside the room, there’s also a small garden with a table and two chairs — perfect for enjoying breakfast or relaxing in nature. The room is the only one rented to guests, so you have privacy and peace, with no other tourists on the property. It really feels like your own little corner of the countryside. Also, it’s easy to reach the property by public transport — there's a direct bus from Cluj (line M81) that stops just a few minutes away. Super convenient!

Perfect couple’s escape in Sălciua de Jos We came to Sălciulla Dream Cabin to unplug for a few days and it was everything we hoped for—quiet, romantic, and surrounded by stunning mountain views. Mornings started with coffee on the terrace, just us and the sound of the birds. Evenings ended in the hot tub under a sky packed with stars—pure magic. I especially loved that the hot tub is included in the price of the stay, most places charge extra for it! The cabin feels thoughtfully designed: spotless, warm, and cozy for two (it had 3 bedrooms so up to 6 people can stay there, but only 1 room has the best Apuseni mountain view). The kitchen had everything we needed for easy breakfasts and a candlelit dinner. Private parking made arrival stress-free. Our host was fantastic—clear directions, quick replies, and helpful local tips without ever being intrusive. We left feeling genuinely recharged and already talking about when we can come back. If you’re a couple looking for a peaceful, romantic base in the Apuseni Mountains, book it. You’ll fall in love with the place just like we did.

We had the most amazing experience at Casa Delia. The house was beautiful, excellent facilities, comfortable beds, and fully equipped with anything a large group might need for an extended stay - from the essentials - bed linen, towels, cleaning products - to the nice touches such as condiments, tea, coffee, toys and games. The supply of products was generous and intended to make us fully comfortable during our stay. The house was warm, and the wood stove heating made the house feel cosy and snug in the cold, winter weather. What made it truly special was our host, who went above and beyond to welcome us into her home at very short notice (1 hour), late in the day, during the busy Christmas and New Year season. If you are looking for an authentic experience, in a house which feels like home, look no further, Casa Delia will take you back to your childhood memories of warm, lazy days…
