The Grand Millennium is probably the best hotel we have stayed at in Saudi. The location is stunning, overlooking the sea, and the large infinity pool, fountain, and grounds (including tennis courts) are beautiful. It was a little further (15 minutes) from the city center than some of the other hotels but well worth it. The hotel is only a year old and so the rooms are modern and fresh. The hotel is decorated tastefully in local design. The service was also fantastic. The hotel manager was very helpful and so was Awatif. Her English and communication were really helpful. Thank you Awatif! For those looking to experience Farsan Island, we recommend calling the hotel to see what types of tours are available. It's hard to find information online. We went there direct by the free ferry which was interesting, but there is no help on the Island itself with regard to activities. We sense it is better to take a tour from Jizan to the island as they know the best spots to take you and the hotel is probably the best place to seek advice on these types of tours.
