As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.

A very nice stay in the wilderness in the lovely log cabin at Aurora Camp Kurravaara. The cabin was really clean and comfortable. It has all the amenities needed to self cater. There are saunas available to use to add to the experience. The cabin is near plenty of forest, where we went blueberry picking and near water if you fancy a splash, although be careful with the mosquitoes at night!
Overall a very nice stay with the family to detox from the stress of modern life.

We had a great time at the Aurora Camp. The hut had everything we needed and the private sauna with the instruction video was great. It would have been nice to provide more small firewood to start the fire but we collected it around the camp. The sauna heats up really fast and it's great fun to jump into the cold lake after using it. As expected there were many mosquitoes but the hut has a screen door which was very helpful.

We had the panorama room which had a beautiful view over the lake. The property is very well maintained - clean rooms, clean shared bathrooms and clear lit paths in the evening. Minibar in our room was super convenient as we didn’t bring enough snacks with us 😊 Also lots of sleds available to have fun with
