A guest house beyond expectation. The property and the room was beautifully renovated, homely and clean. The instructions given by the host were clear and timely. The value for money was very good. The friendly host Alfred was a young entrepreneur who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Alfred was also very open to suggestions of tips and improvements which he put in place immediately. The spacious kitchen was free to use with all the necessary utensils and we could comfortly have dinner at the property without having to go out to restaurants each night. Guests are free to store private food in the fridge. Overall a very pleasant stay that we highly recommend.

    We really liked the location as it was across from the water and an easy walk to explore the town. We were with extended family for a few days before a family wedding and it was great to have access to a bar area to catch up with everyone as they arrived from Australia. The breakfast was lovely.

    The room was huge but the spiral stairs 2 floors up were not very fun. The fact that it's an old prison gave it a special charm and a very unique feeling. The place was near the water and it was a quiet neighbourhood with private parking just across the entrance.
