    A perfect place going the Astrid Lindgren Värld in Vimmerby. The place is set in a beautiful rural setting and is a great place to stay if you want to catch the "Småland vibe". Perfect for children with a gymnastic hall and playground outside. Friendly staff. Good beds. A great place to stay for families.

    - we had the house for ourselves. With small children, it is very nice to have our own place. - short distance to astrid Lindgren world - bedlinen and towels were accessible. - baby highchair were in the house.

    A great place to stay in for families. A unique hostel with interesting history, located in a region where Astrid Lindgren's books are a living story. Owners where very helpful and made plenty of recommendations on what to visit in the neighbourhood. A very well equiped and organized kitchen. Kids had planty of space to play. Parents also had a cosy library to relax in.

    We booked a superior family room with 2 bedrooms + a small kitchen which was great for family (though everything was on one floor rather than two floors as in the pictures). Very close (5-min drive) to Astrid Lindgrens Värld. A small playground outside of the hotel was great for kids.
