Chata pri potoku, as its name suggests, is situated by the Hruštínka stream, far from the centre of Hruštín. Thanks to that, it is quiet and peaceful, sometimes you can only hear cars passing by. The surroundings are nice, inviting for walks on the surrounding peaks. The cottage is equipped with all amenities (only the dishwasher is missing) to spend even a longer holiday there. Nicely furnished inside, the beds are comfortable, in the bedrooms enough space in the cupboards. Living room with fireplace, which is a source of heating, hot water is from an electric heater. In the backyard there is an additional shed with a barbecue area, actually a cooker and a supply of wood, also for the fireplace. You have to chop the wood yourself, but there is a good axe ;) The hostess Marta is very nice and helpful (just ask for towels), we were given local cheese as a welcome.

This is a superb and very comfortable apartment in the very center of tiny, quiet Oravsky Podzamok. We could see Orava Castle from our room and of course it was a short way to walk there or anywhere else in town. You can park your car easily in front of the building. The host is nice and friendly and met us in a second as soon as we called.

The room was clean, the bathroom as well. The terrace was beautiful with an amazing view on the castle. The host gave us tea and coffee and she let us park the car there for the morning, so we could walk to the castle
