Most of all the staff, they were friendly. Tentative in wanting to meet all your needs whatever they were.. The location was fantastic, I couldn’t have a better location. The food was absolutely excellent fresh pot and everything that you would want. Excellently prepared. Requests were taken care of immediately. Tranquility/peaceful is the environment of the hotel.

Everything was perfect. Large, beautiful, clean, and newly renovated rooms. I have nothing to complain about. The hotel’s location is perfect, right across from Galata Port, close to Istiklal and the tram station that goes to Fatih (Grand Bazaar and Mosques). The breakfast was very good, with everything you need (eggs, vegetables, fruits, jams...), and fresh products. The hotel owner is very nice. Parking is available in front of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel’s location was absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of the city center. Despite being in a bustling area, the excellent soundproofing ensured peaceful and restful nights. Brand new hotel, so everything was clean and in immaculate condition. Very friendly and polite personel that catered for all our needs (thank you Mustafa). All of them speak English, something that is not so common in Istanbul. The whole hotel smells perfectly, they occasionally spray a discreet perfume everywhere, the swimming pool and its jacuzzi are great after a walking day in the city, very clean and relaxing. The spa area is also perfectly clean. In the hotel there is a nice confectionery MADO, open till late. The hotel is next to Metro 2 Istanbul and in close distance to Tram 1 that takes you to the centre of the town. The area although central is not congested but is at at the same time very safe at night. All in all we are totally satisfied and we would totally recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is perfect - it’s walking distance to almost everything you need to see in Istanbul. The tram is also just a 3 mins walk. There are plenty of restaurants nearby too. The rooms are spacious. We got the connecting family room which is perfect for our family of 5. I would highly recommend this room for families. We booked for a few nights first initially and decided to extend our stay at Carina Gold. The staffs were also great and kind.
