    Host and family were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They're responsive in replying our messages too. They gave us tips on Alishan trails and recommended the best trails nearby and places for dinner. You can tell he's really familiar with everything in the area. The owner has a tea garden and you can see the view from some of the rooms. They serve delicious local breakfast. Good hot and high water pressure shower.

    The host, Mr Xu, and his family were very friendly. Mr Xu gave us a welcome tea session and an introduction to all the hiking trails near the homestay on our first day of arrival. The family also went out of their way to give us free rides to the nearby locations such as Fengqihu, locations to watch sunrise & sunset. We appreciate this gesture very much as we did not drive. During our stay, the host prepared a day of complimentary dinner for us, which was very delicious.

    The location of Green Incense is out of this world! Surrounded by tea plantations with views of distant mountains. I spent 4 nights here and had blue sun, misty mornings and night rain. Trails head out direct from homestay. The family are very caring and will pick you up and drop you off on arrival and departure. Also to nearby restaurants. 4 generations live here and they embody the friendliness and hospitality of the Taiwanese people. Comfy bed with electric blanket! Varied vegetarian breakfasts for me! Just go there!

    owner and his family are very friendly, almost everyday owner will brewed the tea for us. tea leaves was harvested from their own plantation.

    The room, however it is more worth it if you going with a family. Otherwise is quite pricey. Good scenery and hiking place. The owner is very friendly and nice. The weather was very cold though so bring more clothes. Foggy(Mist) at night though. Owner is very nice to bring us to the nearby town to eat. He also send us back to the HSR chayi at a fee of TWD 1,500 (if I rmb correctly)
