Everything about this hotel was perfect. Tucked away in a peaceful village on Taiwan’s stunning east coast, it combines beautiful design, cleanliness, and a calming atmosphere. I can only agree with the other good reviews. Nice, clean room, friendly staff. In the centre of town, near bus stop. Brothers speak very good English. The food in the restaurant is great, best food we have had during our 2 weeks in Taiwan. We had to leave early and a take away breakfast was prepared, very much appreciated. If I have to mention a minor inconvenience, the wooden chairs in the room are a bit hard to sit on.

I stayed here only one night, but could have stayed way longer! Everything was fantastic. I felt really welcome and Eric (the owner) helped me with what to do, where to eat and was generally really nice. Fantastic experience!

Very spacious and comfortable room. Good location in the town, on a quiet street. Good communication via the app even though we didnt physically meet the owner. We were able to use the laundry facilities also which was great.

Even though the owner didn't speak much English, she was well prepared with her cards and translator to make our stay easy and comfortable. The room and the view is spectacular.

This is most certainly the best accommodation you can book in Chenggong. We arrived during our second day of Bike Packing and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful with everything. This house has a beautiful view and a secluded private nature which you can enjoy both from the room, the spacious communal kitchen and living room area and the balcony deck which is ideal for a sunrise yoga session!The room itself but also the whole building is very clean with thoughtful details. Before arriving we recommend that you do a small grocery run as there are no supermarkets in the small village. There is however a great little restaurant the hosts recommended to us with fresh fish only a 20' walk down to the beach. We loved everything! Will return for sure.
