The building is not too nice from the outside, but beautiful traditional taiwaniese / japenese wooden interior, nice decors, clean rooms, comfortable bed, welcoming hosts, superb view from the breakfast room. Great location: only few steps from Jiufen street stairs, but away from the big crowds. Great atmosphere I would return.

This is a perfect and affordable place in Jiufen. The hostel is super clean, the staff is friendly, and everything about my stay was exceptional. Perfect location right next to the night market. In the morning the smell of the cinnamon buns from the cafe fill up the building. Definitely order one. They were the best we've ever had (and I've had my fare share of cinnamon buns). The building is nicely renovated. Rooms are clean and all facilities are available. They let us keep our bikes in the lobby which was great.
