This cozy beachside resort offers a peaceful, serene escape with exceptional service. The owner, Loay, is incredibly hospitable and always available on WhatsApp to attend to any needs including your meal order, excursion plans etc. (I have yet to see this service at another resort). Rufina, the friendly and attentive waitress, made every meal enjoyable. Unlike other resorts, this one has fewer hawkers, allowing for a more relaxed experience. It’s the perfect spot for relaxation, with a personal touch that makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended!

New and not big hotel with cozy bungalows on the beach. The restaurant and kitchen is amazing, lunch and dinner a la carte Staff is very friendly and helpful.

What a paradise! The new resort in Michamvi is an unforgettable experience. The village is enchanting, and the sunset view from the beach is spectacular. Everything was perfectly organized under the management of Precious and Christophe, who have an extraordinary team. A special thanks to Jacob, a remarkable guy with golden hands: his cocktails are fantastic! Thank you for this unforgettable experience.

The existing reviews stating how great this place is are not wrong! Chosen for this reason, we were not disappointed! Tikitams is, without doubt, five star. The staff do everything they can to welcome you and attend to your every need. The hotel is quite remote and certainly not for those looking for exciting nightlife. It's quiet and, most evenings, everyone was back in their rooms by 9pm. But if you're looking for quiet and calmness, where all you hear are the sounds of monkeys and bush babies, this is the place for you. The food is delicious and there is good variety. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Someone comes in every evening to turn down the bed. Afternoon tea is served every day at 5pm. The bar is a lovely space and cocktails and beer reasonably priced. We were offered a complimentary face, neck and back massage at the spa which was a real treat and outstanding. The staff are amazing. Two examples: 1. We were going on an excursion that involved swimming. Knowing pool towels were provided at the hotel, we had not brought our own. Unsure what we could take for excursion, we planned to ask at reception prior to leaving. We got to reception, ready to depart, and there was the receptionist with towels, anticipating our need without our even asking. 2. We wanted to use the pool table just off the restaurant. It is outside. When we got there, there was a large flying insect sitting on the table top. I got pool cue to encourage it to fly away. From out of the shadows, a massai warrior (I kid you not; they are the security team for the hotel) appeared, removed said insect, and disappeared into the shadows again. Not sure if he continued to observe our bad pool-playing or not because he was undetectable again. All you hear from all who work at Tikitams is 'You're welcome!' and 'Makuna matata'. We had a fantastic four days! I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing get-away-from-it-all!

Absolutely fantastic! No other words to describe it really... Everyone so friendly, rooms are very spacious and everything was done and served with love Manager was Vlada, I dont think there is a better person to sort everything out, such a delight and always helpfull. from dinners to transfers to reccomendations, we managed to see it all, taste it all and even experience Zanzibar to its full potential. Service was top notch, wide variety of local food also available. High quality amenities available in room as well as clean pools. Free transfers to their public beach at certain times if you want a change of scenery. They made our anniversary absolutely amazing.

This was our absolute favourite place to stay during our 2 weeks long honeymoon! Michamwi Kae is ideal for people who are seeking the luxury but the unbeaten paths, with relaxed local atmosphere and kind people. And the beach is the most beautiful here too, white powder sand, vibrant blue water without waves. We also observed that local people (including our hosts) are the most adorable in Michamwi. So romantic place! 😍

Excellence in every aspect, the staff were discreet yet always available. facilities were clean, in pristine condition and very well maintained. We have never felt so comfortable in a hotel.
