It is beautifully presented and like a living piece of history. It is immaculately clean and the hosts are very welcoming and happy to share the story and history of the house. Staying at Chesnut cottage ticked off so many must do things of our U.S southern road trip.

    The standard breakfast was fine. We were told by Booking.com that there was a 50 $ refundable fee for our dog. We were not informed that the accomadation for the one night stay with the dog was $75.00 which is the same amount as charged for 2 dogs staying 4 nights. ( that is a rip-off!!)

    We loved that it had many bathrooms and loved that it was family friendly and had games and puzzles to play . Also loved it was only 10 minutes from family we were there for. The house is very beautiful and beds and couches are lots more comfy than hotel furniture.
