It was more than I could have imsgined. The location was superb with open waterfront view, beautiful sunset if lucky!! The house was just beautiful and the hosts were very nice. First visit to a McManamins and it was such a feast for the eyes- like a hostel on steroids, the paintings, colours, photographs, fabrics and plants are just super fun and extra. Also an amazing story(ies) behind a historical building you have to see to truly appreciate! Cozy room with a clean, comfy bed. Excellent, friendly staff and great drinks. The best part was the multiple bars to chose from. Found this great as a solo traveller- safe, fun, unique spaces that i didnt expect to find all under one (fabulous) roof. The tiki bar's great and Spanish bar's cocktails were particularly awesome! Little tour of the gorgeous "ballroom" concert space was a nice touch. They also have a great little gift shop with a variety of taps available. Super memorable experience, will be back with friends/family for sure and will be seeking out more spots from this company.
