    We loved the trees around the house, there was always a shady place and a sunny place. The house is very comfortable, furnished with excellent taste. It is very clean and spacious, the kitchen is well equipped. The host is extremely kind and generous. She let our friends stay for the night without charging extra and provided us with extra linen and towels. We had a wonderful time, mostly hiking in the nearby nature reserves and in Shenandoah National Park. The kids loved the nearby beach. It was an ideal place for a family holiday.

    A beautiful house with its own history. Great location, 10-15 minutes walk from the station, great for a family or group, great and very friendly host.

    The room was very clean when we arrived. In-room thermostat was great and easy to set. The staff was friendly at check in and check out. The building was family friendly but not noisy. Having the pool on site is great! We tried the restaurant and bar and that was a nice addition to the stay.

    We loved this spacious home, it was perfect for our family of 5 adults and two children. The house exceeded our expectations. Loved the well-stocked kitchen, the coffee and tea options and the inclusion of all equipment we needed for the cooking we did. We were too busy with evening games at the dining table to even try the fire table on the deck! That is my only regret; a wonderful holiday home. Extremely clean and comfortable.
