I performed a last minute booking with few expectations but fortunately fell upon this wonderful space. The cottage's decor truly captures the ambiance of the coastal Carolina experience. The cottage sits on a large nicely landscaped yard with plenty of parking and privacy gates. The host was exceptionally kind, truly went out of his way to help ensure my comfort. The house is gorgeous and it’s an easy (and beautiful) walk to downtown. We ended up skipping many of the activities we had planned in Wilmington because we had more fun hanging out with Sophie at her home. Breakfast was delicious and made to order. Although the location is not downtown I felt very safe. The parking lot was well lit and the entry doors are locked at night. Hotel was quiet and comfortable.
