    A perfect stayover on our way home to Cape Town from the Kgadigali park. Beautiful old, Victorian house, built by a Jewish family (David star in the window of the front door), very good value for money, nice, big room and an extremely helpful and nice host, who advised us to go to an excellent restaurant Die Blou Nartjie, with exquisite Karoo lamb on the menu. Certainly recommended!

    Elsabe was the perfect hostess....the room, breakfast & location were superb...cannot get better value for money. Definately recommend if your needing a place to rest your head in Calvinia..a place where you arrive as guests & leave as family 💕

    Check-in was super easy, we had some rusks and coffee waiting for us. The place was clean and very ideal for our family. it is close to all the amenities and a great place to stay if you would like to see the wildflowers.
