He shared his knowledge with us, was always attentive, funny and open to answer any questions we had. The room in which we stayed was beautiful, clean, had all the necessary amenities. Just note that if you need heating, you’ll have to ask beforehand (we did without it). We had interesting conversations about the country and its people with Olaf about photography. Marie gave me lots of interesting insights into the keeping and breeding of her animals. So interesting to learn about nature and animals. She she did the safari with so much passion, professionalism and so much fun. Exceptional. We had the best time ever. We stayed at treetops which was so amazing- our room was gorgeous and the staff so friendly and attentive. We got there on a very hot day to be told tap water was not potable and no ESKOM, gas fridge needs 2 days to cool and solar panel had a problem. Charming Olaf sorted all out on Thursday and we had a brilliant stay. I am not s good walker so Olaf upgraded us at no extra cost, bloody marvellouS. Highly recommend. On last night we watched for 2 hours 4 lions trying to get an elephant calf. Did not succeed as 1 very large elephant chased the male at speed away when he drew close.
