I had wanted to go to fugitives drift for over 20 years,and it exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend the battle field tours. The guides were amazing ( Bryan Mcube) and brought the battles to life. The location of fugitives drift and views from the rooms were A1/5 STAR. To be able to do self guided walks amongst giraffes, zebras and antelopes was just amazing. The food was high end restaurant standard, and the chefs should be very proud of the food they deliver. The staff that served us (Including Tea/coffee at the door when you wake up) and looking after has breakfast, lunch and dinner. You made fugitives drift my favourite 3 days out of 28 in a beautiful country, I will remember my time with you for a long long time

Rorkes Drift B&B is ideally located. About 2km from the Rorkes Drift Battlefield and on the road to Isandlwana. We found the rooms delightful, the food delicious (we upgraded to full board) and even did Christmas lunch here. The staff are all local and were very friendly and engaging. Most of all I loved that the B&B is part of Khula Education and the Charles Aikenhead Innovation Hub and all profits go back into uplifting the local community. If you are socially minded and love sustainable non-profits, this is the place for you. Not only is the accommodation and food excellent but the cause is very worthy and I loved being able to play a small part in helping uplift this beautiful community. I would definitely choose Rorkes Drift B & B again.

The staff was very helpful. Japie is a great cook and pays attention to the guest needs. The owners were awesome people and gave me an upgrade!

Everything! The location was stunning the host excellent. We chose the location for its location to Isandlwana and Rorkes Drift. It served that purpose perfectly. Nothing was to much trouble for our host, Brett, he took us on a drive in the evenings to see the local wildlife. Giraffe, Kudu, Zebra to name a few. As well as showing us some Bushman cave drawings. Enjoy being in your own personal valley. An absolute gem!
