It was self service but the kitchen was well equipped and the hosts provided extras like beer, wine and milk. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. The location in a spacious quiet safe haven outside Stanford was ideal with an easy commute to Hermanus and views of the mountains.

    The serene view and nature is out of this world. The warm greet at the gate by Blessed and welcome at the Lodge by Kate is heart warming. We had a fantastic breakfast prepared by Chef Kate. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life, this peace of heaven awaits you. Kate and Blessed are not friends after our stay, but family. See you soon.

    I loved the space, privacy and distance from town. The hosts were amazing, accommodating and made us feel right at home. Thank you for allowing us to explore your gigantic garden - it felt like we had a private farm all to ourselves. I love that it is pet-friendly. Our fur baby and toddler had the best time running around, exploring, picnicking and doing scavenger hunts. We have found our home away from home.

    We loved everything about the cottage. The minimalist decor is beautiful and flawless but very warm and welcoming and also easy to clean and flexible enough for young children. The outdoor is heavenly for nature lovers, just a picture perfect. The host family is just a phemononial loving, kind, friendly family.

    We loved everything. The boathouses are amazing. Location is gorgeous, everything is so modern and stylish. The food was incredible. It’s perfect for younger kids but as adults you’ll have just as much fun.

    We stayed there (with our 9 month old baby) for one week in November and just loved this place. It‘s a mix of „our little farm“ and a french country house - but even better! Perfect for couples and families! Cameron and his team are so lovely and welcoming - we highly recommend this accommodation and definitely come back one day!

    The authenticity of the place, privacy and fantastic landscapes makes it must visit . The food is farm to table just refresh you in the morning and energised during the day!
