Outdoor seating is also available at the holiday home. My wife and I stayed at York View House September 25 to 28, 2025. The house was beautifully setup with all the necessities you could need. The kitchen is large, having all the amenities you might need for a stay. The Livingroom was also large and setup with very comfortable furniture. This location in Bancroft made for easy access to Algonquin Park where we were able to enjoy some magnificent vistas.

Charming lodge, bigger than expected & having the whole place for ourselves. Very clean, with fully equipped kitchen + spices, coffee, tea, sugar, milk, oatmeal, oil, etc. Very nicely decorated house with cozy fireplace. Quiet environment. The host Maria who lives in the main house next door, was very friendly and made us feel at home and gave us a great tip for magnificent canoeing in the nearby Bonneschere park.

Very close to all the city amenities grocery, , health supplies, restaurants, pubs and bars etc. Good neighbours with lots of privacy.

I’ve taken my time to write this review because it deserve it. The place is beautiful, Deborah (the host) is lovely and we slept like babies. Something you notice when you are doing a road trip for the east of Canada with a toddler 😅 So the place is also child-friendly. Mostly, baby-friendly as even if the bed is big, is big enough for two adults and one toddler only (ours is 1yr and a half). The cabin is small but very well distribute and so so clean.

The property is around 300 metres from Dwight Beach, 16 km from Deerhurst Highlands Golf Course and 9.4 km from The Acres Driving Range Artisans Gallery. The location was absolutely perfect—quiet, scenic, and right by the water. The cottage was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. My family especially loved spending time on the deck and enjoying the beautiful lake views. It truly felt like a home away from home. We’re already talking about coming back. Highly recommended!
