The property has mountain and lake views, and is 27 km from Lucerne Station. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The location and the view from the balcony was excellent. There is a common washer and drying roonm on site, which is very good, but a bit complicated. This was explained by the Elisabeth, the manager very well. Parking is complimentary on site. One needs to be aware that a 300 Euro deposit is taken on checking in.

Located in Stans’ village square, Hotel Engel provides modern rooms with contemporary furniture and a minimalistic design. The café bar offers a terrace overlooking the square.

The rooms at Engel Hotel feature white, empty walls, pine wood floors and straight lines. The monochrome bed headboards have built-in mirrors and halogen lighting. Loved that there was space for two suitcases in the room. Great breakfast and lovely staff

The restaurant serves fine seasonal cuisine with many products from local farms. It is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 6.30 pm. Quirky room, upgraded with a big bath in the center of the room, making for a nice evening even if we arrived late. Port or sherry bottle given complimentary as well. Nice lake views at breakfast.
