The personnel is very friendly and we were lucky to be there at a time that they were having a special dinner buffet with meat specialties from the region. Great breakfast as well!

Hotelino Petit Chalet is located on ski slopes and is just a 3-minute walk from Celerina town centre, shops, restaurants and bars. The Marguns/Celerina cable car stations, and the local bus and train station are within a 5-minute walk.

A ski school, children’s fun park and tennis courts are located next to the building, and St. Mortiz is 3 km away. The whole hotel was beautifully decorated, and all the units were of the highest standard. I just loved the stone floor Italian walk in shower! Breakfast was brought to our bedroom by the wonderfully friendly and hospitable Francesca. The hotel is also only a short walk from the train station (4 mins by train to St Moritz). From the hotel we had an amazing view of the surrounding mountains. We actually preferred the charm and tranquility of Celerina to the busier St Moritz. We will come back!!

Built in a modern Engadine style, this 3-star hotel in the centre of Sils-Maria is 750 metres from the Furtschellas Cable Car. The traditionally furnished restaurant serves Swiss and Italian cuisine.

Hotel Maria’s individually decorated rooms overlook the forest or the valley. They feature wooden furniture, satellite TV, and a bathroom. Excellent menu, preparation, and presentation of the evening meals all three days. Also, an extensive wine list. Overall, the restaurant for the evening meals was very good and a good value. Breakfast was suitable but not above average. I seem to recall an extra charge for an egg cooked to order.
