This nature experience of the local trees and pines with fantastic beaches was incredible. It was the best food we tasted for a local chef and the recycling program for guests to participate was outstanding. From big crowded city to a serene quiet preserve was much needed by our group of friends.

Breakfast is NOT included and served daily on the terrace or in the comfort of your room. The location is picture perfect, literally. It is on the western coast of the island, so if there is a sunset, you would see it. On our days, it was rainy, but that simply brought a different kind of beauty. The beaches were mostly empty - we had them to ourselves. There are several ways to get to the beach below, and all are an easy, short walk. Yet, the hotel is elevated, so you have a lovely view of the coastline. The room was light and airy, and very clean. There is plenty of storage space, and a nice shower with plenty of pressure. The bed was very comfortable, and there were room darkening curtains. The hotel was full when we were there, but it was still quiet. Breakfast is not included, but we found it to be worth the price. There was a lot of variety in the pastries offered, along with cheese, meat, boiled eggs, cereal, and fruit. We would recommend this place, and would stay again.

Hôtel & Espace Bien-être La Maison du Lierre is located in Biarritz, 300 metres from the beach and 5 minutes from the convention centres Bellevue, Casino and Gare du Midi as well as 100 metres from Biarritz central market. It offers free WiFi and Canal + channel. Location was central and near a local park which was lovely.

The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed. The location is ideal — close to the main sights, restaurants, and shops, yet quiet enough to relax peacefully. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would be happy to come back again.

The centre of Royan is a 10-minute walk away and features shops, clubs, tennis courts and a casino. An 18-hole golf course and an equestrian centre are located 8 km from Hotel Family Golf. La Rochelle Airport is 79 km away. Quiet, very comfortable bed, but mostly very kind, down-to-earth staff!

The bed was so nice and the flat is incredible with lights coming in, when we woke up we had an amazing view from the bosque.
