All that in the heart of lovely Harris countryside. Simply one of the nicest and the most pleasant places we visited yet.

The place was absolutely heartwarming and exceeded all my expectations. I wasn’t expecting much when booking just an overnight stay, but we got a lovely, cozy cottage with a sea view. Everything we needed was there. Charming, friendly sheep outside the window and a double rainbow as a gift. Truly special!

It's really easy to use.we didn't worry about having our dog with us. Easy to keep clean and tidy. Really dog friendly.

Upstairs the kitchen and living room area again with view using a window the width of the room to maximise the effect and light. Velux roof windows too brought in lots of light. Simple stylish furnishings suited it perfectly. Kitchen well equipped with freezer downstairs in utility room, perfect for not disturbing the silence you experience when staying here. Bathroom has large shower cabinet with an excellent shower fitted. Modern heating too, electric thermostat radiators throughout, very cosy at night and in the morning. The enjoyment is a credit to the housekeeper who presented the house immaculately clean and as new on arrival. Location is superb, less than half mile from Tarbert and down a track from the road there is no sound of cars passing and the house is private with a great view over Urgha bay,its idyllic. Excellent communication too from the owner who offers his number should you have any issues. We had a wonderful five nights in Harris and I cannot recommend this house enough, it’s wonderful.

I usually get back pain when I sleep flat (on any bed!) and this bed was SO comfortable that it was the best sleep I have ever had on a vacation. Location is great - easy to access lots of trails, downtown Tarbert and Scalpay. We will be back!
