The country and places we've stayed have been amazing, including The White Quarry House. Maria was a great host, very nice and helpful. The room was clean and had lots of storage. The bathroom was also clean and spacious, I LOVED the huge bathtub. No other places we've stayed on the trip had a bath tub at all. The grounds were beautiful as well and I loved the landscaping. Tons of parking. Gorgeous town. Thank you!

During your time staying in this recently renovated apartment, dating back to 1940, you will have access to free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is set a few steps from St. Columba's Church. Sarah was a spectacular hostess, she went above and beyond for sure. We arrived to fresh brown bread, jams and all the makings for crisp sandwiches! Sarah also had some fresh fruits, milk and other bits. Everything was absolutely flawless, the kitchen and baths were well stocked, just such an adorable place. We loved all the special touches, and Sarah was so responsive through our trip. We will absolutely be visiting again!

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Butterhouse is a recently renovated guest house situated in Trim, 4.8 km from Trim Castle. The property is around 14 km from Hill of Tara, 15 km from Solstice Arts Centre and 17 km from Hill of Ward. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. We loved the facility and its owners. It is exceptionally clean, well furnished, and warm. Our bedroom was clean, tidy and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and included eggs, bread/toast, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee/tea and wonderful conversation. The grounds of the B&B are delightful and include cows.

Rathgillen Cabin, a property with a garden, is situated in Nobber, 17 km from Navan Race Course, 19 km from St. Columba's Church, as well as 19 km from Kells Round Tower. The property is located 19 km from Kells Heritage Centre, 23 km from Jumping Church of Kildemock and 23 km from Solstice Arts Centre. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. We stayed there twice, one night at each end of our two-week holiday in Donegal. We found it a great place to spend our first night after a long flight to Dublin airport (which isn't too far away) and also for finishing off our trip in beautiful and relaxing surroundings. On previous trips to Ireland we'd stayed at other places in County Meath on our first and last nights and they had all been really good but Rathgillen Cabin has become our favourite. Peter, the host, is a very friendly and welcoming fella so we's love it if he'd come to stay with us at our home in Bulgaria some time. And the village has a handy shop, a great pub and a wonderful cafe where we had our final breakfast befor heading home. We were also delighted to discover that Nobber was the birthplace of the 17th Century blind harpist. Turlough O' Carolan whose music we've loved for a long time.

The self-catering facility was the cleanest, the most comfortable I could have found. It was fantastic and to be recommended for anyone needing a place to stay near Trim, near Navan, or for a country rest.
