It was very close to the centre, but it was secluded and peaceful. The lodge had a home feel to it. Breakfast was exceptional, and they had fresh flowers everywhere.

The hotel's outdoor facilities include archery, kayaking, petanque and walking. There are several mapped trails and a fairy-themed walk for children. The hotel and grounds were amazing, it was among one of the nicest places we have stayed at. The hotel itself is stunning, and the scenery is even better. We loved the pool, spa, and the facilities it offered. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was very good.
