The washing machine worked great and was a lifesaver halfway through our vacation. Takeo itself is lovely, definitely pay a visit to the library and the camphor tree and both restaurants we visited were out of this world.

The host and the other guests were super nice and the evenings together were a lot of fun.

Incredible guesthouse in a nice a traditional Japanese village, right by the train station also. Had the whole dorm to myself that night and was able to cook up a feast. The highlight is of course the Keiseki dinner on first night and Saga Beef shabu shabu on second night. It is highly recommended for guest at this Ryokan to have at least one dinner meal during the stay.
