Checking out of this residence felt like being put out of heaven. Little Muni and baby Alexandro, Narah who taught me how to ride a motorbike, uncle's honesty, and all my sister's laughter! The little food surprises 😁I got a free room upgrade (I think they understood my strain after a long train trip). And so - I cannot commend you enough - as very few places I've been to manages to combine effortless kindness and hospitality - with perfect sized rooms (e.g soft beds AND choice of soft/ hard pillows) quitetude with urbanism, and - sustainability without bragging about it - All at a fair price. Worth mentioning they have an organic farm, so the food is delicious, especially the juices- and the saltwater (clorine free) pool is not only good for you, its an imperative and logical (uncle) though for the future, that more hotels should adapt I hope you grow up happy, Muni. The owners provided fantastic dinners, took us everywhere we wanted, and gave a lovely tour of their beautiful village. They shared many interesting stories. Battambang is a lovely, authentic city with warm and friendly people, offering nice activities like the bamboo train, cycling, and exploring the charming old city center. I loved to stay there!

I really enjoyed my stay in Family Batcave homestay with Saro’s family. The homestay had everything I needed. The owners were really kind and friendly and Saro even gave me a ride by motorbike to the killing cave up to the mountain and also to see the bats. I was able to use their bicycle for free which was really nice. The breakfast was great and also the dinner that Saro’s wife cooked for me. I warmly recommend staying there for authentic experience of Cambodia!☺️
