Super location, staff was wonderful and the food good.

Rooms have a patio with garden views and free WiFi. Enjoyed everything about our stay. The hosts, the comfort of the place, and the good vibe in the place. Also, the breakfast is THE BEST we ate in Sri Lanka. Highly recommend staying here :)

Situated in Arugam Bay, a few steps from Whisky Point, Whisky Point Resort features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a terrace. This is PARADISE! exactly like I have seen it described in books. Everything is just created to make you not want to ever leave ❤️ me and my fiancé had such a great experience here. When we have arrived, we had a bad cold, and everyone has mobilized to make us feel better: pills, teas, all kinds of ayurvedic medicines were given to us to make us feel better. I felt like we were at our parents homes, and they're going above and beyond to make us feel better. Rooms: we got an upgrade to a room with bathroom and, even though we paid for the lower one, we were offered for free the upper one - very nice gesture 👍 we never slept better - ocean sound and breeze, there is a balcony for each cabana. Super clean, great design, bathrooms are big. Lovely :) The food: Italian base, I had the best pizza ever. Also, we love soup, so their chicken soup is perfect. Staff: amazing. Also, the owners are very fun and welcoming, it was a pleasure to meet them. Activities: the complex is at the ocean front. So we bathed and sun bathed, the weather was amazing. Also, you can learn how to surf, get a massage, play board games, go to safari, go into the lagoon on the beach or by boat, tuktuk to PottuVill, which is much better than Arugam Bay, being more local. I don't have enough good words for this accomodation. I am now looking at options to come back in Jan-Feb and stay for longer than 3 days 😄

The best part about this place is Mohammed, he made sure we were always comfortable, he always had delicious snacks for us. The room was really comfortable, with AC and a fan. Just next to the beach, and a really good surf school. Would recommend.

The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. Stay Golden has been one of our favourite stays of our entire time in Sri Lanka. Beautiful bungalows/apartments, the sweetest staff (our kids still miss them) and delicous and healthy food available from 8 AM until 9 PM. What we really liked was that there were always several families staying here and that the owners was also pretty much always around with their family, it created a nice and homely vibe in which we felt very welcome. Big thanks to Rihan and Angie and we hope to visit again some day!

Guests may go to the family-friendly restaurant, while a grocery delivery service and packed lunches are also available. Great location and food! Friendly and helpful staff who go out of there way to make you feel welcome. Rooms are clean and decent sized.

Great location, 5 minutes walk to Arugam Beach. Beautiful setting, rooms are nice and good value for money. Very helpful and friendly staff who told us about a nearby area to see wild elephants at sunset! Very filling tasty breakfast one morning too, really wonderful stay

The accommodation provides free shuttle service, full-day security and currency exchange for guests. The room was very spacious and cosy. There was quite a large fridge, good for cooling water (even 5L bottles). The hotel is close to a nice beach and within walking distance of the tourist centre. There is a shop and very good restaurants nearby.
