Breakfast is also very nice. Hosts helped us in organizing trips, told us real prices and prevented scams. If you don't know what to do, I would go to the for an advice. The Hakgala Botanical Garden is within 11 km of the homestay. We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly kind and helpful. He arranged tuktuks for our longer rides at a good price, which made everything so much easier. We enjoyed breakfast and had also dinner at a very good price. One morning, when we left for a hike very early, he even prepared a breakfast to go, which was such a thoughtful gesture. His whole family is truly lovely and welcoming.

The staff were absolutely amazing - I made the booking very last minute and they really took care of me, which is important for a solo female traveller. Very warm welcome. The breakfast was very nice. Yes, the villa might be a few km outside town, but it’s a short tuk tuk ride. Amazing value for money. Highly recommended.

First of all, the room is clean, comfy and spacious. There is a common space to enjoy coffee and tea. The breakfast was above expectations, good quantity and the taste was fantastic. Then the hosts are amazing. Their recommendations are super valuable. Chami the host drove us around and spent a lot of time with us. To be honest it felt amazing to have such a welcoming host and we felt very lucky to have that experience. It was maybe one of our best days in Sri Lanka. If you're arriving they can offer a pick up for a small fee. We're already looking forward to our next visit! We will not only come back as guest but also as friends.
