Extremely clean, beautifully furnished with the most comfortable beds. We were very grateful for the air conditioning as it was so hot outside. Breakfast was next door at Två små svin - nice restaurant with beautiful lush garden.

You can see the Domkyrka bell tower from the bedroom window and it’s a short walk to the harbour and windmill (well worth a tour—it’s free and the guides are fantastic). Henrik and Isa have thought of every comfort and are incredibly obliging hosts. The bed is possibly the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Strängnäs itself is adorable. Its location on Mälaren makes for a beautiful outlook, there are cafes, restaurants and boutiques. There are shops, pubs and swimming spots. The train takes you to Stockholm in less than an hour and it’s not too far to Mariefred and Gripsholms Slott. I mean, what’s not to love? Henrik and Isa have good recommendations to suit your needs. You should stay here!

In addition a 32-inch TV can be found in each room. Some guest rooms are situated on the ground floor and are wheelchair accessible. Everything is amazing here. Close to animals and forest, beautyful views and buildings. Host who was managing with breakfast was super-nice.

Situated in Oxelösund, 2.2 km from Stenviksbadet Beach, Esplanadens vandrarhem i Oxelösund features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. The hostel has a sauna, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. We did not see that sheets were not included in the price we paid for the booking. But the owner asked if we need them and didn't charge us for them.

Outdoor seating is also available at the homestay. We were only minutes from Flen. It wasn’t an amazing place. The host were magnificent. Couldn’t wish for more.

Located 1.6 km from Parken Zoo, the property provides a garden and free private parking. The property is non-smoking and is situated 47 km from Aros Congress Center. I think this was one of the best accomodations during my 3 weeks road trip. I was very much surprised how comfortable and clean the apartment was and that picking up the keys turned out to be super easy as well. We exchanged several messages with the owner who was very helpful, friendly and polite. Parking was possible infront of the house in the yard. (Also on the street there was plenty enough space if the yard would have been full.) The apartment felt cozy and homey. I will definitely return if I'm driving there next time.
