    Bea,part of the family who own the place, & manager of the Masseria, was exceptionally helpful & charming. She gave us advice where to go, where to eat etc. The Masseria is on a working farm & the whole family is involved in running it.

    A wonderful stay in a beautiful agriturismo just out of Matera. The family running the property were so lovely and welcoming and provided helpful information about where best to park and visit in Matera. Breakfast was excellent!

    This beautifully restored fortified farmhouse was exceptional in every way. The room, the breakfast, the hilltop views, the service. It was only about 5 minutes from Matera, but well away from city noise and congestion. Parking was easy and free, at the door to our spacious room. The Managers, Beatrice and Pasquale, speak English.
