This was the MOST wonderful place to stay near Acqui Terme. It was just what you think of when you think of Italy: Vineyards, exquisite golden light, rolling hills, incredible coffee. gorgeous old villa, tall ceilings, a feast for breakfast. The pool was just the icing. Our host gave us suggestions, including going on an alpaca/llama walk. Parking was easy and close. The nocciola was amazing; we bought some from here before we left. We were in a giant three-room suite with lots of attention from our host.

Our dual aspect room, with far-reaching views to the Alps, was clean and airy, in fact wherever you are at this property - the pool, the dining terrace; the views are incredible. Dinner - WOW, Stefania is an amazing chef. Whilst enjoying watching the setting sun, we were treated to 5-6 courses of excellent quality cookery for a ridiculously low price. Breakfast was also delicious fresh homecooked produce. I was also very happy to be reunited with their lovely resident donkey!!
