At the farm stay, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. Nice owner (Alisson) and Nice house on the middle of the olive trees. Was perfect for us as a 1 night stop on the way to the East. Will strongly advise to ask Allison for a tour of her olives factory, it is very interesting! (Tasting at the end as well)

Leopards Leap Family Vineyards is a 2-minute walk from Heuwelsig Farm Cottages, while the Leeu Estate is 5.2 km from the property. The nearest airport is Cape Town International, 70 km from the accommodation. This is one of the best places I have ever stayed at; not only in Franschhoek, but of all the places I have ever stayed at before. It is very spacious, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The farm and surroundings are gorgeous and peaceful, and the location to the town center is perfect. One could stay here in the winter or the summer, due to the indoor fireplace, hot tub and outdoor braai area. I love that it is also very private. Our host was extremely attentive; responding immediately whenever we asked her something. She was very friendly, helpful, and it was clear that she wanted us to enjoy our stay. We will now be staying here every time that we are in Franschhoek!

Fresh eggs, branded products, wine in the fridge …. This is our second stay and I am planning the return.
