The personnel is the soul of this hotel. Rarely have we encountered such outstanding professionals (Anna, at the reception, is a treasure!). But then everything was perfect. Breakfast (the bread was delicious!) and in general food & wine, decoration, location (check the view from our room). Just perfect.

The Hotel Sacher is a beautiful hotel in an exceptionally high-quality traditional style. Our rooms were an oasis aesthetically and functionally designed with the guests' comfort the upper most consideration. The bars and restaurants were a delight with superb drinks and cuisine. We had an exquisite after Opera dinner in the Grune Bar, and, of course, we had to order the famous Sacher Torte in the Cafe Sacher. The hotel breakfast was extensive with a buffet, and a la carte options served in either the gentle morning room or the Grune Bar and was a lovely way to start the day. The staff, regardless of their position, were extremely polite, friendly, and very well trained. All our requests, e.g, for taxis, valet parking, tickets, directions, and advice on attractions, were handled cheerfully and quickly. All these factors have meant that our very happy memories of the Hotel Sacher will not fade.

We cannot fault our stay. From arrival the staff were friendly and attentive and ensured we not only settled into the accommodation but shared their local knowledge on the best way to experience Vienna. The interior of the rooms is a designer's dream with attention to detailing that celebrates the heritage of the building. Staff were always friendly when we saw them around the property and the overall experience could not be faulted.

Perfect location, very stylish and beautiful interior, gorgeous view from the window during breakfast. Delicious and varied food at breakfast.     A very well specified and thought out room in a truly luxurious hotel , well deserving of its 5 star rating. The breakfast was more than adequate with smoked salmon , superb omelettes , freshly baked breads and excellent coffee. We have already booked to come again later in the year.

    This hotel need urgently complete renovation last was done 30 years ago...dirty wals , dirty bathroom,old windows dirty windows, no mini bar in room.... This hotel doesnt deserve 5 stars maximum 4 !!! to expensive for this money you can get luxury hotel in Wien town center...all is extra charging parking cost 30 eur per day !!!! I'm very very disapointed on this hotel and next time in Wien I definately take other hotel !

    Overall, everything went well, but the one thing we do not understand is why this hotel is rated five stars. This is not up to 5 star standards in any case. The reception, the breakfast area, the rooms, the hallways, the food, all were pleasant, but not 5-stars.
