    It did have a grand look befitting a 5 star, though somewhat run down in a few areas. The staff, particularly the ones in the restaurant were great!

    Never has a 5-star hotel reached my expectations like this one. Decorated a friend's bed and sent up complimentary cake, extended our check out time, was in a fantastic location right next to a mall and in the city center. Check in was smooth, room service was quick and the cleanliness was always on point. It's convenient, service was prompt and reliable, it's as advertised. Staff are always friendly and kind to speak with. Would recommend for short or long stays. This place makes me want to return to Surabaya.

    The hospitality staff are excellent in catering to the needs of guests. Special mention must be made to staff at the Club Lounge & Bromo Kafe. Chef Fitri went beyond to extend her services to us. Alfandy, Wanda, Rika, Jojok and the rest of the team really made us feel special. At the Club, Alfian, Pak Wisnu, Pak Arif and team also made us feel like Sheraton.Surabaya is our 2nd home. Truly five stars in service.

    A Must experience ! Allthough the 5 Star Qualification does not compare to the level of luxury. Rooms very dated. Initialy they gave as a room which was terrible. After complaining we had an upgrade to an renovated “suite” Much better but still not 5 Star rating worth. This hotel has some potential to be one of the nicest and most historical hotels from Indonesia. But the owner must invest!

    It is a beautiful hotel, the staff is very attentive and accommodating. Large rooms, well equipped with a comfortable bed and charming furniture (sofa, desk etc). Large bathrooms in colonial style but with all the luxury of a 5-star hotel. The food in the restaurant is excellent, a large selection of asian and western food at breakfast and also for dinner. If you really want to treat yourself to something special, this is it!
