From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The renovated building boasts amazing facilities, including a great spa and pool, making it a worthwhile destination on its own. The restaurant and breakfast were exceptional too. Just be aware that the close surroundings may not be touristy, so for a longer stay, it's nice to explore the region by car or take advantage of the transportation options offered by the hotel.

It was a beautiful conversion of an old farm. The renovation was sympathetic to the original. However all the facilities of were of the highest quality. It was one of the most peaceful places we have ever visited. The staff were the friendliest and most helpful in all aspects and I would commend particularly Luca and Nicolai in reception, Sabrina at the spa and ALL the staff in the restaurant.

Sangiorgio Resort is set in a restored convent surrounded by olive groves, 15 km outside of Gallipoli. It offers free parking, and an outdoor hot tub with free parasols and sun loungers.

Everything was amazing! - All the people that work at the hotel and we interacted with were EXTREMELY nice and helpful. - The room was super clean. - The room was quiet, we had curtains which made the room dark in the middle of the day so you could sleep as much as you want. - The bed was excellent; big and comfortable. Also the pillows. - Great location; close to everything. - Parking right outside the hotel. - All the things in the room of high quality materials: slippers, towels, bed sheets, toilet paper etc - The air conditioner worked as a charm, and the room is not overheating during the night so even if it was hot we slept so good.
