I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Cape House, and it was a truly fantastic experience. The service was exceptional, and our stay was nothing short of perfect. A special mention must go to the manager, Eranda. He is one of the kindest and most inventive managers I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. His attention to detail and genuine care for guests made our stay incredibly enjoyable. He was especially wonderful with my son, making him feel welcome and special throughout our visit. I highly recommend the Cape House to anyone looking for a remarkable place to stay. The combination of outstanding service, comfortable accommodations, and Eranda’s exceptional management truly sets this place apart. Everything ! The place is amazing. It is charged with history and beautiful. You will find books and board games everywhere to enjoy by the fireplace when the sun goes down. The gardens are a dream. There are very well curated and you will be able to observe the birds nesting in the trees. And the view ! There is no words to describe it. It is breathtaking. Finally, what we enjoyed the most was the service. We are used to travel in luxury hotels and the staff of Thotalagala have nothing to envy to the most experienced staff. The food was really good and every team member was very kind and thoughtful. They gave us a free upgrade, offered us so many little attentions that I can mention everything in this comment. They are knowledgeable and flexible, they care for every little details, they are passionate about hospitality and genuinely caring about people. And at the end, that is the thing that matters. They are the one making this place feels like home and we hope to be able to visit them again.

The staff were beautiful people, very helpful and accommodating. The views are splendid. The FOOD IS THE BEST PART. Amazing buffets, im usually not a fan of buffet, but they were real good. They spoil you rotten. I felt like being within the property only instead of going out.

The experience at Andriyala was truly wonderful. Room was very comfortable and pleasant and the garden was beautiful and made the place feel calm and peaceful, with a quiet atmosphere throughout. Also the breakfast was delicious and so filling that lunch wasn’t even needed. The property was very clean and well looked after. A special thanks to the manager Mr. Shenon and all the staff for their friendliness and care, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Loved everything! Room was incredible, views like nothing else, delighted to have a bed that could roll onto the balcony and a hammock for relaxation. Spa was beautiful with serene views and reasonably priced (it was cheaper than the place we went to in town!). Restaurant staff were lovely. If the sights of Ella weren't so fantastic, we would have happily spent every second in this room.

The setting is marvellous. The staff cold not be more friendly, helpful and customer oriented. The cuisine is excellent. And the chef even went the extra mile to cook for us Sri Lankan delicacies, which were not on the menu.
