Everything!!! the staffs here are soooo nice with very good manners. This place provides nice service and the room make me more than satisfied. Also the foods here are delicious and it's really great to eat in the private yards with amazing views of the Gregory Lake. Strongly recommend!!

This was one of the most beautiful and welcoming hotels we have ever stayed at. Starting from the check-in and till the last minute of our stay, everything was perfect. Akila is the best hotel manager ever, he made our stay feel as home, we felt like we were visiting family house rather than staying at the hotel. The view is incredible, and you can watch birds and squirrels from the garden. The food was cooked by Akila himself, and this was the best food we had in Sri Lanka. Many activities to do around the hotel as well, Akila was very kind to take us on a guided hike tour with visiting a Hindu Temple. You can also visit Glenloch tea factory, which is a walking distance from the hotel, where you can experience tea plucking. If we ever come back to Sri Lanka, it will be just for visiting this amazing place again.

The palace is very quiet and cozy it feels like home. Well located, very nice view, and garden. The food is very pleasant, the chef is very talented he made the food experience very good. We booked half-board (breakfast and dinner). The staff were very friendly, literally everyone even the planters guy’s. Everyone is smiling.

The whole experience was amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were welcomed with a refreshing freshly made drink and flowers. The food was made from fresh local ingredients most of the coming from their own kitchen garden. Staff were very helpful in helping us find the location as it is secluded and away from the main town which makes it very pleasant and relaxing location. We woke up to an amazing view and natural atmosphere. There are not many restaurants around but the food made my the chef at the bungalow was very delicious.

From the luxurious interior to the breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, dam and tea plantations, our experience here was wonderful and a much needed getaway in an extremely calm and serene place. We were hosted by the very warm and cheerful Akila and served delicious meals prepared by the talented in-house chef.

    La Grande Villa is a must to do if you are coming at NUWARA ELIYA. You can feel the luxury England atmosphere everywhere. The room is fabulous, the food is delicious and all the staff was so caring, so helpful and so nice. You can count on the receptionist Farhan if you need anything, count on the chef if you want to eat Sri Lankan, Indian or English food and count on the staff to makes you feel like a VIP guest. Thanks to all of you for this unforgettable stay. I warmly recommend that place.
