This place is amazing. Location : perfect, with a parking for your car. Distance from centre : 6 min walk Room : clean, comfortable, with an outstanding bathroom Cleanliness : 10/10 Friendliness : heartwarming Breakfast : 6 Michelin stars!!! View from rooftop : best of Albania. This place is amazing, we could have stayed an entire week, but unfortunately we had to leave. This is a hidden gem. Tip: Use the directions of the guesthouse to reach them, as Google maps will send you through the old town.

We loved everything about The Barrels. The hospitality was outstanding, so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable. The food we ate at breakfast and dinner was delicious with great vegetarian options. We really enjoyed sitting by the vines watching the chickens. Highly recommend!

Very nice, comfortable and private Hotel. The host was the best. For me it’s all about the cleaning, and argyropolis Hotel get a 5 star on that feature. I totally recommend this magnificent place.

The location in the countryside outside Gjirokaster was beautiful. Marcel and his family have created a rustic haven with modern accommodation they have just completed. Breakfast and dinner in the shade of fruit trees and grapevines, overlooking the vineyard was stunning. Chickens, a turkey and guinea fowl amongst the vineyard were constant amusement. Marcel was an outstanding host and couldn't do enough for us from the moment we arrived.

The hostel is fantastic. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, fantastic kitchen and facilities. Walter and his team are helpful and friendly. The breakfast is 5 star. Super impressed from start to finish. The dorms are great and the private rooms looked very tempting. My favourite so far in Albania.

The facilities and breakfast were amazing. The property owner was very nice and even offered us coffee and a delicious dessert when we arrived. The location was near the centre of the old town, and it’s pretty close to restaurants and attractions. Five stars!!
