Ascona
Offering a 300-metre long private lakeshore at Lake Locarno, the luxurious Castello del Sole features a spacious wellness centre with a gym, tennis courts and a golf course. It is surrounded by a 14-hectare big private park. There is not much to say about this place it is probably on of the best places to stay at the Lago Maggiore. Everything is perfect. Very friendly and professional staff.

Located directly on the shore of Lake Maggiore, a private bathing beach, the jetty with its own marina and garden, guest rooms and suites. There are also exceptional restaurants, including "La Brezza", which has been awarded two Michelin stars and 18 GaultMillau points. The gourmet restaurant is closed in Ascona in winter, but is open in the Tschuggen Grand Hotel Arosa during the winter season. Best hotel I've stayed in. Great service, staff, room, amenities, etc.
